Thank you for this post, Chrissy. Very nice.

So how is it that I've had the pleasure of your acquaintance for so long and this is my first time to your blog??

Hugs,
Cheri

Thank you for a reminder of this wonderful truth, Chrissy. God's promises cannot be broken. Sometimes it is hard to understand that God's ways are higher and that he will work all things out for us - but he never fails!

What a nice, straightforward setup you have here, Chrissy. I love the titles of your posts, and the content of this one hit me between the eyes. My son has autism, and he has a very rigid sense of expectation. He asks us rather frequently why we break promises. It's so hard to prepare him for the flexibility of life. I will try to use that phrase you suggest. It's very wise to leave an escape clause. LOL
